Dion Dawkins Secures Second Consecutive Nomination as Buffalo Bills’ Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year.

Dawkins has once again emerged as the Buffalo Bills’ nominee for the prestigious Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award, a recognition that, according to the NFL, represents “the league’s most prestigious honour and acknowledges NFL players who excel on the field and demonstrate a passion for creating a lasting positive impact beyond the game.”

The left tackle for the Bills received the news of his nomination at one of his community events, the Talent Show, a fundraiser for his foundation, Dion’s Dreamers. The heartwarming announcement was made with the assistance of his daughter, Dalilah.

“Honored and Heart is full. Thank you Thank You Thank You,” Dawkins expressed on social media this Tuesday.

The winner of the 2023 award is set to be unveiled during NFL Honors on CBS on Thursday, Feb. 8, adding an exciting element to the festivities leading up to the Super Bowl.
